What is Capillary Reduction?

Capillary Reduction is the treatment of an individual dilated capillary using laser energy to target the blood supply within the vessel. This advanced technology emits a light that blasts the broken capillaries, causing the body to break them down and disperse via the lymphatic system. Your body will naturally eliminate the capillary vessel via the lymphatic system.
This treatment offers advanced laser treatment for vascular lesions, including common issues such as leg veins and spider veins.

Consisting of clumped blood vessels, vascular proliferations known as cherry hemangiomas are very common on the body, especially as we age. They can be treated quickly and effectively.

Thin reticular veins (leg veins)

Reticular veins are the visible veins below the skin with a blue-purple colored appearance, and a diameter of under 3mm. Occurring predominantly in the lower extremities, they can be treated safely and effectively.

We will give you specific post-treatment instructions. While your skin may be slightly red immediately after the procedure, thie should resolve within a few hours. You can resume your normal activities immediately following the treatment.
